“ Arrived at 12:30 and was seated, ordered Fondue for 2 , Swiss sausage platter, and Quiche Lorraine. Only complaint was it was 1:52pm when our food arrived. Fondue was very rich and tasted wonderful, paired with their house bread was great. Swiss sausage platter arrived and came with mustard , horseradish and relish, sourkraut and German potatoes. The Bratwurst was amazing, great flavor with a subtle hint of celery seed. The smoked sausage was just ok, absent any smoked flavor but was none the less had good flavor. The Kraut was really good and flavorful. The German potatoes were kind of a let down. They only had the taste of fried potatoes, no bacon,onions or anything. The Quiche Lorraine was amazing from start to finish, from the flaky crust to the creamy cheesy center , ordering this you can't go wrong! It came with red pepper green beans which were really good and the German potatoes again. Their homemade bread roll comes with a really good butter called Grassland a Div. Of KerryGold Irish butter (some of the world's best) One really good compliment to the restaurant is all the food didnt need any extra seasoning (salt & pepper) it was perfect as is. The service was very attentive. We loved the Swiss uniforms the ladies wore. Tho it took almost a hour and a half to get our food, (the restaurant was very busy) we will be back because it's quality food, with great atmosphere and great people. They check all the boxes. 5 stars across the board! Just wish they had a Swedish meatballs dish on the menu. ”

“ We actually went two hours out of our way to come here. Been here once before and loved the experience. The waiter was wonderful, the food was delicious and the wine was amazing. Had two glasses of wine each. Headed to the winery and gift shop afterwards and left with two wine glasses and three bottles of wine. The ladies were very nice. I definitely recommend this place. ”

“ I haven't been here in a long time, stopped in for a late lunch. I forgot how pretty, rustic, and unique it is. If you have time, make time, this place is worth the stop. The staff was super friendly and food is amazing. Prices are great and worth every penny. The biggest call out is the beef stroganoff! I haven't seen it or had it is years and theirs is magnificent, melt in your mouth with the wine sauce sealing the deal. I just wish I had room for dessert. I can't wait to come again. Thank you! ”

“ Wiederkehr winery is very unique in so many ways. When we arrived at Wiederkehr we really didn’t know what to accept. It looked like something straight out of a movie, the restaurant looks like a hobbit house carved into a mole hill, just like in the movie hobbits tale. I truly can say it had me speechless in a unique way. The server Liz was very friendly, and cam over to assist us as soon as she noticed us. We had a few questions which she answered very politely and even made recent to us! The grounds area around the winery is well kept, even though it’s an old rustic place! We participate in a wine tasting of a variety of their wines. I can say the muscadine wine was my favorite. For those who don’t know it has wonderful nutty cherry aroma and a oaky taste. It’s truly an incredible blend and one of the most unique grape wine varieties I have ever tasted. ”

“ This little hole in the wall was top notch! My husband came across it by accident, and I’m glad we came! The atmosphere was incredible, our server went above and beyond for us, and the food was terrific. My husband even tried some wine so good it brought tears to his eyes. My only concern was the restrooms being upstairs. The staircase was narrow, and you step down into the room where the restrooms are in. There isn’t any indication there’s a drop so it kinda jolted me. Despite that very brief moment, I highly recommend this place. We loved it and hope to spend more special occasions here! ”
